Life Changing Beauty Hacks & Favorite Tips

Hey guys!

Are you looking for ways to up level your beauty game? Want to get gorgeous without spending tons of money? There are so many ways you can fake-it-til-you-make-it with these life changing beauty hacks! Keep on reading for some of my favorite tips!

Want some life changing beauty hacks for your skin? Here’s some of the best!

Trying to fight dry, cracked lips? You’ve got a great exfoliator right in your bathroom… your toothbrush! Use the bristles to exfoliate your lips nightly to get rid of dead or rough skin, then follow up with some Vaseline or something similar.

You can also exfoliate your lips with plain old sugar. And it tastes delicious!

Speaking of Vaseline, you can use it for more than just lips. It’s great for dry cuticles, cracked heels, or even as a base under your highlighter for an extra pop!

Another major multi-tasking item is Neosporin. You know it’s good for wounds, but you can also use it on razor burns, stretch marks, dry cuticles, and even bleeding pimples. Get one for your first aid kit AND one for your makeup bag!

Instead of spending big money on fancy toners, try using apple cider vinegar to brighten your skin. Apply a little bit of apple cider vinegar on your skin before going to bed and wash it off in the morning. After just a week, you should start seeing results. Just be aware: apple cider vinegar is strong stuff and has an equally strong smell. You’ve been warned!

If you want something more natural and gentler on your skin than your current primer, try aloe vera gel. It smooths out your skin and helps calm down redness and inflammation. (That’s why aloe vera gel is recommended after a sunburn!) It also helps your makeup appear less cakey.

Blackheads rearing their ugly heads? A mixture of toothpaste and baking soda will do the trick to remove those blackheads fast! Apply the mixture to your skin (wherever your blackheads are) and gently rub the area with a (preferably clean and new) soft toothbrush in a circular manner. Do this for three minutes, then wash the toothpaste and baking soda residue off your face with warm water. The mixture should have taken care of all the oil, giving you clear skin.

Coconut oil is a great item for an all-natural, gentle and moisturizing cleanser and makeup remover. It’s great for all skin types, especially for oily and acne-prone skin. Coconut oil also does double duty for your hair! It’s a terrific hair mask or leave-in conditioner, especially if you’ve got frizzy hair. To use, just brush coconut oil through your hair and leave it in for 30 minutes. Wash it out and enjoy how incredibly soft your hair is afterward.

When it comes to hair, consider using a cotton T-shirt to dry your hair instead of a towel. It will reduce the frizz and static in your hair.

And finally, the best beauty hacks of all are the ones you hear all the time: Get enough sleep, don’t go to bed wearing makeup, and drink lots of water!

Life’s busy, I get it. Between homework and hanging out with your friends, who has endless amounts of time to spend on getting gorgeous? Don’t worry, with these life changing beauty hacks you will be out the door in no time!

For a cheap and easy way to find THE makeup palette you’re looking for, organize your makeup palettes in a letter holder. It’s an elegant way to keep everything in one spot on your bathroom counter so you can see all your makeup palettes in an instant. Pick up something cute at places like Staples, Office Depot, or Target.

Getting ready and realizing that your clothes are a little wrinkled in some spots? Use your hair straightener to flatten those wrinkles out! This trick is especially great on shirt collars.

Maybe your hair is looking a bit greasy? Grab some baking soda and use it as an all-natural dry shampoo. Just a little sprinkle of baking soda on the roots of your hair should absorb all your hair’s oil. Make sure you run it through your hair well so you don’t have a huge white streak in your hair!

Now that you’ve got some life changing beauty hacks, I hope you find these tips and tricks as useful as I have. I love you all so much! Stay awesome, stay sweet, and don’t forget to be nice to each other. Bye bye!
